Project:

The solution (project), a government initiative funded and supervised by an international NGO, was aimed at digitizing an extensively manual process in order to deliver seamless healthcare services to the intended beneficiaries.

Techefficio case study
Challenge / Business requirement

To develop a mobile app of an EMR system with embedded supply chain functions. The challenge was to design the solution keeping in mind the high volumes, data security, and the low internet bandwidth, the users working from mostly remote locations. The other challenge included digitization of a manual process.

Our Solution / Approach

The solution was designed not only basis the present requirement but also ensuring that the solution is scalable considering the overall scope of functioning of the organization.

  • UI/UX Consistent, simple (self-explanatory), and intuitive user experience keeping in mind the users who would be needing the application to perform their day-to-day activities.
  • Integrations Databases (workers, doctors, health centers), patient records, analytics, maps, and telematics.
  • Framework Databases (workers, doctors, health centers), patient records, analytics, maps, and telematics.
    • Manage multiple logins roles within a single app, ensuring there are no multiple apps for different roles even if they have different workflows.
    • Designed with a light-weight sync framework to enable a seamless experience -with or without internet. It would also make sure that no data is lost and the app is usable for the various activities even without internet.
    • Microservices Architecture for the APIs.
Impact

Full digitization of a tedious manual process has led to all the providers / stakeholders (healthcare professionals and beneficiaries) having all the information available everywhere for ease of use while delivering/availing the intended health services.
